In short

Frachtbrief needs no account and runs no servers of its own. Your saved games, best times and unlocked achievements stay on your device. Data only leaves the device through three services: Apple's Game Center and App Store, and – unless you have bought “No Ads” – Google AdMob for advertising.

1. Data on your device

Saved games, best times, unlocked achievements and settings (such as sound on/off) are stored locally on your device. I have no access to them. They are removed when you delete the app.

2. Game Center (Apple)

If you are signed in to Game Center, the app sends your results (days to reach the goal) to the leaderboards and your unlocked achievements to Apple. They are linked to your Game Center profile and shown to other players on the leaderboards. The provider is Apple Distribution International Ltd., Hollyhill Industrial Estate, Hollyhill, Cork, Ireland. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (providing the feature you use). If you are not signed in, nothing is sent; the game works fully, just without leaderboards. See Apple's Privacy Policy.

3. In-app purchase “No Ads” (Apple)

Purchases are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. I receive no payment data. The app only asks Apple whether the purchase belongs to your Apple Account. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (performance of a contract).

4. Advertising with Google AdMob

Unless you have bought “No Ads”, the app occasionally shows full-screen ads through Google AdMob. The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.

Google processes in particular: IP address, device type, operating system and app version, language setting, approximate location (derived from the IP address), an identifier Google assigns to the app installation, and information about which ads were shown and tapped. The app does not use your device's advertising identifier (IDFA) and does not ask for permission to track.

Consent: In the EU, the EEA, the United Kingdom and Switzerland the app asks for your consent through Google's consent dialog before the first ad (legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and Section 25(1) TDDDG). You can accept, decline or choose individual purposes. If you decline, Google only shows non-personalised ads where legally permitted. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time under “Privacy” in the main menu.

Google may transfer data to countries outside the EU, in particular the United States. Google is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework; the EU Commission's standard contractual clauses apply in addition. See How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services and Google's Privacy Policy.

After you buy “No Ads” the app no longer requests ads. On later launches it does not start Google's ad service at all and no longer shows the consent dialog.

5. This website

When you visit these pages, the web server briefly keeps technically necessary access data (IP address, time, page requested, browser) in log files to keep the site running and secure (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The pages set no cookies and embed no third-party services.

6. Children

Frachtbrief is not directed at children under 13.

7. Your rights

You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection (Art. 21), and you may withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future (Art. 7(3)). As I do not store any personal data about you myself, please contact Apple or Google directly for data they hold; I am happy to help. You may also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.

8. Changes

If the app changes so that other data is processed, I will update this policy. The version published here applies.
